Background Project Output

I was born in Finale Ligure, on the north west coast of Italy.
I studied cognitive psychology at the University of Pavia (Italy). I then moved to CiMEC in Trento where I got my master degree in Cognitive Science.
Before that, I spent my internship at the University Hospital of Tübingen (Germany) working at my master thesis at the MEG lab.
My project was about combining pharmacological and neuroimaging approach to study inhibition mechanisms in the somatosensory cortex. To do that, we used both beamforning and dipole fitting procedures on MEG data to localize the source activity and its modulation by different GABA agonists.
I started my PhD at the Donders Institute for Brain, Cognition and Behavior , department of Cognitive Neuroimaging, in october 2015.
