Background Project Output

Caroline obtained her bachelor degree in biological psychology, master degree in developmental psychology and research master degree in neuropsychology at Maastricht University, Netherlands. Over the past ten years she gathered work experience in many different kind of areas, but she considers her passion to be research in the field of developmental neuropsychology. In 2014-2015 she completed her research internship at Hasselt University, where she conducted research on motor function in autism spectrum disorders. Recently she started her PhD at KU Leuven, switching to the topic of dyslexia. She is one of the 15 early stage researchers working together in the EU-funded Childbrain-project. The focus of her PhD will be studying brain connectivity in young children at risk for dyslexia, as well as dyslectics, using state-of-the-art anatomical and structural brain measures.
